Everything can change in an instant. About me is a moving target.

Official bio:

I’m the mom of two young men and a Toronto-based writer of memoir, essays, social commentary and now fiction.

My writing has been featured in numerous anthologies, The New York Times, The Globe and Mail, Chatelaine, Toronto Life, NOW Magazine, Huffington Post, Reader’s Digest and Zoomer, amongst others. I’m also a seasoned editor of memoir, academic books, papers, and PHD theses.

I’m the author of the memoir, Lost and Found in Lymphomaland –– a harrowing and funny trip through a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

WHITE is my debut novel.

Unofficial bio:

I’ve written and spoken a bunch of things really well. Lots of actual people have told me that.

I’m mostly an exception, rarely a rule.

I make people laugh and cry at the same time, which is supposedly a good party trick. Mostly, I only make them laugh.

I can be exasperating. I’m hugely punctual. I know very little about sports.
